Get to know about your Website Security ?

If there’s anything that the pandemic has taught us, It’s the fact  that you can run a business from literally anywhere. Companies are accelerating their digital transformation, and cybersecurity is now a major concern.  We understand that this not only affects businesses but also their customers.

In this article we’ll tackle  the major attacks likely to be faced on your website and how to  cushion your company’s from such.

It is common for hackers to use malicious software to infect your websites, gather data and in some cases even hijack computer resources, or  use your site to infect your site visitors with malware. The two common attacks to hit you website are:

1. Denial of Service (DoS) Attack –  a hacking technique designed to flood your website with a lot of requests to the point that it overloads the web server resulting in a website crash.
2. Phishing – an attack mostly done via email or sms.The type where a hacker asks you to confirm some personal information or Informs you that someone has been trying to log into your website and you should update your credentials, thereby using this opportunity to get access to your site.

      2. It is also important to always keep your wordpress, php and plugins updated. As new releases come up, This is crucial since newer releases are often better and less likely to be hacked due to security patches/fixes that have been included.
